Iwaizumi Hajime/Kageyama Tobio Hinata Shouyou/Kageyama Tobio Fanfiction
So, I have kagehina here, because it's the perennial jam, I love these two nerds and how much they love each other, and should you choose to serve up some kagehina, I'm mostly interested in the sweet slide from friends to close friends to loving someone to being in love with someone, and how they would handle and soften and adapt as they get to realize that this other person is incredibly dear and important to them. I'm ALSO interested, however, in how overinvested in Hinata Kageyama is, how he found someone he was compatible with, and how Kageyama may or may not have imprinted every single feeling he's grown since middle school onto Hinata, and how when Hinata tells Yachi that he didn't think he'd found a friend in Kageyama, but a partner, like -- what if we were to believe Hinata? What if Hinata is telling the truth, that he really doesn't think of Kageyama as a friend, but Kageyama does. I would love to explore that.
But, um. I gotta say, I am HERE for Iwaizumi and Kageyama. In middle school, in high school, beyond. Iwaizumi watching out for Kageyama, maybe all along despite Oikawa's attitude, maybe he checks in on Kageyama more frequently since Oikawa almost hit him. You know, Kageyama's serve isn't Oikawa's, it's Iwaizumi's? For reals. even if it's just recycled animation colored differently, like. I want it. I want any content. Obviously, like, Hinata and Oikawa are gonna be in this fic, but I'd really like to avoid love triangles, here.
